Maison Elara was founded on a simple conviction: that women in India deserve access to world-class luxury bags crafted at home, with intention, and without compromise.
We are a design-led atelier based in Surat — a city that has always understood the relationship between skilled hands and extraordinary material. We work with Italian leather sourced from Tuscan tanneries, Indian artisans trained in European finishing techniques, and a philosophy that values material integrity above trend.
Our Craft
Every Maison Elara bag passes through more than 60 individual handcrafting steps before it leaves our atelier. We use no shortcuts: every seam is hand-stitched where it matters, every hardware component is individually attached, and every bag is quality-checked by the artisan who made it before bearing our name.
